“Salaar: Part 1 – Ceasefire (Hindi)” is now available for streaming on Disney+ Hotstar, starting from February 16. This announcement came shortly after an English-dubbed version of the film premiered on Netflix. The Prashanth Neel directorial, starring Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran, initially premiered on Netflix on January 20 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam languages. Now, viewers have the option to enjoy the film in Hindi on Disney+ Hotstar, expanding its accessibility to a wider audience.

“Dunki,” a film starring Shah Rukh Khan, made its digital debut on Valentine’s Day 2024. Directed by Rajkumar Hirani, the movie had originally premiered in theaters in December 2023. The cast includes Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Anil Grover, and Vikram Kochhar. The storyline of “Dunki” revolves around the issue of immigration. In anticipation of its OTT release, Shah Rukh Khan also released a special promotional video to announce the film’s availability on digital platforms.

“The Kerala Story,” starring Adah Sharma, is now available for streaming on Zee5. Directed by Sudipto Sen, the film follows the journey of three women who convert to Islam and are subsequently coerced into becoming terrorists. Despite facing controversy and bans in some areas due to its portrayal as a ‘propaganda film’, “The Kerala Story” proved to be a box office success in May 2023.

“This Is Me… Now: A Love Story” is Jennifer Lopez’s latest cinematic release, a 65-minute-long musical film directed by Dave Meyers. It premiered on Prime Video alongside her album of the same name. Combining elements of a rom-com and action movie, the film revolves around a central character, loosely based on Jennifer herself, who is a hopeless romantic trying to understand her string of failed relationships. With music from her new album, the story delves into themes of love and self-discovery. Interestingly, Jennifer Lopez, the singer-actor, has been married four times in real life, adding depth to the parallels between her on-screen character and her personal experiences.

“Love Storiyaan” is an anthology of six short films inspired by stories from Priya Ramani, Niloufer Venkatraman, and Samar Halarnkar’s popular Instagram handle #IndiaLoveProject. Created by Somen Mishra, who serves as Head of Development at Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and Head of Dharmatic Entertainment – Fiction, the anthology promises to offer a diverse range of love stories based on real-life experiences and narratives shared on social media.

“House of Ninjas” is an eight-episode Netflix series developed, directed, and written by Dave Boyle. Based on a story by Yoshiaki Murao, Takafumi Imai, and starring Kento Kaku, the show follows a dysfunctional family of retired ninjas who must reunite for shadowy missions to combat looming threats.

“Players,” Netflix’s latest rom-com released on Valentine’s Day 2024, stars Gina Rodriguez as Mack. Mack is portrayed as a woman who has spent the last decade orchestrating intricately planned ‘plays’ with her friends to engage in casual encounters with strangers. Described as a raunchy yet heartfelt comedy, “Players” promises to offer a blend of humor and romance.
