Bank of Baroda has launched a comprehensive forensic investigation. This move follows reports indicating that approximately 1 TB of sensitive customer data was leaked in an alleged cybersecurity breach.

In an official statement, Bank of Baroda said it is working closely with relevant authorities. They will investigate the incident and is adhering to all regulations. The announcement came after social media posts claimed that the bank’s data had been leaked.

According to reports, the stolen information was allegedly uploaded to the dark web, where unauthorized users can access data anonymously. Some reports also claim that the leaked information includes sensitive customer details, such as data linked to Aadhaar. Although Bank of Baroda has not confirmed these claims.
