Waise toh hum is baare mai has rahe hai par yeh bahut cheap baat hai. Jo bhi ladkiya baithi hongi woh samajh payengi ki main kaisa feel kar rahi hoon” which translates to “I think the concerned newspaper also tagged along with the raids. Even though we are now laughing, this is very cheap talk. The women sitting here will know what I am feeling.” Through this response, Chopra conveyed her disdain for such gossip and highlighted the importance of empathy and understanding among women.

Priyanka Chopra further expressed her displeasure, stating that she didn’t take the situation kindly. She clarified that Shahid Kapoor was indeed present at her home during the incident because he lived just 3 minutes away.

Feeling helpless and needing immediate assistance, she called Shahid, and the Income Tax department allowed him to stay. She emphasized that she had never denied or lied about this incident. Through her statements, Chopra underscored the importance of not only respecting her privacy but also recognizing her humanity and the need for support in difficult situations.
