Esha Deol Breaks Silence After Separation Announcement: ‘I Am Doing Fine

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani have chosen to separate after 11 years of marriage. The couple shares two daughters named Radhya and Miraya.

Actor Esha Deol was spotted at the Mumbai airport on Monday, marking her first public appearance since announcing her separation from husband Bharat Takhtani. In a video, Esha was observed stepping out of her car upon arrival at the airport.

As she made her way towards the terminal, the paparazzi requested her to stop for photographs, to which she kindly complied. When the paparazzi inquired about her well-being, Esha responded with a smile, saying, “Main theek hoon. Aap log kaise ho (I’m doing well. How are you)?”

Before entering the terminal building, Esha Deol waved at the paparazzi, displaying a friendly gesture. She was dressed in a cropped white top, denims, and white shoes, accompanied by a bucket hat and carrying a bag for her travel.

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani recently announced their decision to separate after 11 years of marriage. In an official statement quoted by news agency ANI, they stated, “We have mutually & amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We would appreciate that our privacy is respected throughout. Thank you, Esha Deol & Bharat Takhtani.” Despite the announcement, the reason behind their separation remains undisclosed.

Esha Deol and Bharat Takhtani got married in a modest ceremony at the ISKCON temple in Mumbai on June 29, 2012. They were blessed with their first daughter, Radhya, in 2017, followed by the birth of their second daughter, Miraya, in 2019. Esha Deol is the daughter of renowned actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini. She also has a younger sister named Ahana Deol.

Esha Deol has appeared in numerous films, including notable titles like “Dhoom,” “Dus,” and “No Entry.” After a hiatus from acting, she made a comeback last year with the thriller series “Rudra: The Edge of Darkness,” co-starring Ajay Devgn, which premiered exclusively on Disney+ Hotstar. Additionally, she is set to star in an upcoming series titled “Invisible Woman” alongside Suniel Shetty. The series is produced by the film division of Saregama India, Yoodlee Films, with Rajesh M Selva directing the project.
