Apha Trailer - Alia Bhatt
The much-awaited trailer of Alpha has finally arrived, offering fans a deeper look into the high-stakes spy thriller led by Alia Bhatt and Sharvari. Directed by Shiv Rawail, the film expands the YRF Spy Universe and answers several questions that surfaced after the teaser release, while also delivering a major surprise involving Hrithik Roshan’s iconic spy, Kabir.
One of the biggest revelations from the trailer concerns the connection between Alia Bhatt’s character, Sita, and Bobby Deol’s menacing antagonist, Fateh.
The teaser had hinted that Fateh raised Sita from childhood, leading many viewers to assume he was her father. However, the trailer paints a very different picture. Through Sita’s narration, viewers learn that Fateh is not her biological parent. Instead, she compares him to Ravana — a powerful but deceptive figure who abducted her as a child and shaped her life according to his own agenda.
Determined to break free from his influence, Sita declares that this time she will write her own ending and destroy the empire Fateh has built.
After being absent from much of the teaser footage, Sharvari makes a powerful entry in the trailer.
Her character initially clashes with Sita in a fierce hand-to-hand fight before revealing that she wants to speak with her. What begins as a confrontation gradually evolves into an alliance as both women find themselves fighting a common enemy.
While the makers have chosen to keep the finer details of Sharvari’s role under wraps, the trailer clearly indicates that she becomes a crucial ally in Sita’s mission to stop Fateh’s dangerous plans.
The trailer also marks the return of Anil Kapoor, reprising his role as Colonel Vikrant Kaul from War 2. He warns Sita about the growing threat posed by the Alpha initiative — a program originally linked to Fateh that now threatens national security.
As tensions escalate, Fateh makes his intentions crystal clear, declaring that if India refused to acknowledge Alpha’s power, it would soon be forced to fear it.
The trailer saves its biggest moment for the finale.
In a mysterious monastery sequence, Sita and her ally are guided toward an enigmatic figure dressed in white. As anticipation builds, the camera finally reveals a familiar pair of striking green eyes — confirming the return of Hrithik Roshan’s legendary spy, Kabir.
The brief appearance is enough to ignite excitement among fans, especially since it comes shortly after Kabir’s latest outing in War 2. His presence hints at a larger connection within the YRF Spy Universe and raises speculation about whether other beloved agents could also make surprise appearances.
With intense action, emotional backstory, powerful female leads, and a surprise crossover involving one of the franchise’s most popular characters, Alpha appears set to become one of the most ambitious entries in the YRF Spy Universe.
The film arrives in cinemas on July 3, and if the trailer is any indication, audiences can expect a thrilling battle between good and evil, with Sita leading the charge against Fateh’s dangerous vision.
