Stock Exchanges Deviate from Disaster Recovery Test, Opt for Full Trading Session Instead
On a Saturday morning, Angel One Ltd clients experienced difficulties in executing trade orders during the initial minutes of trading. This occurred as stock exchanges deviated from their plan to conduct a special trading session meant for testing disaster recovery sites.
The technical glitch at Angel One prompted numerous clients to express their frustration on social media platforms like Twitter. One demat account holder, potentially with Angel One, voiced concern about the non-execution of their orders, seeking an explanation for the issues faced during the trading disruption.
On Twitter, another client raised concerns about the Angel One terminal, inquiring about the ongoing issues. The client reported that their order had been stuck since the opening bell, and they were unable to square off any of their positions.
Client frustrated: Unable to sell on Angel One; Criticizes poor customer care, kept on hold for 15 mins after call pickup.
“Unable to sell on Angel One; Customer care disappointing, kept on hold for 15 mins after call pickup @AngelOne”
Twitter post: “What is happening with you Angel? It’s going toward a very, very worst trading app day by day. Don’t login.”
In response to a post, Angel One requested the client to share their customer ID via direct message (DM) to investigate the matter. Another post from the Angel One handle assured a client, stating, “I have noted your concern and will get back to you with an update soon.”
