The specific event was held in Delhi and was attended by Randhir Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Boney Kapoor and Rahul Mittra.
The biography is titled ‘Raj Kapoor- The Immortal Master At Work’ and chronicles the legend’s time spent at the iconic RK Studios wherein he was nurtured by Raj Kapoor.
In the book, Rawail has additionally explored never-before-known aspects of Raj Kapoor’s quirky feel of humour, and penned insights about his relationship with his crew and with the artistes spanning over 3 generations. The biography will even focus on Raj Kapoor’s role as an incredible filmmaker who superbly captured human emotions.
Rahul Rawail had mentioned the biography with Randhir Kapoor and Krishna Raj Kapoor, before beginning work on it. “Biographies are often written without permission however Kapoors are family and very dear to me. I would have never written it without their consent,” Rawail had formerly informed us.
