Snapchat on Wednesday acquired an updated Snap Map that brings a function known as Layers to superimpose content material and information about different places. Snap says that the new presenting is constructed on the prevailing Heat Map and is aimed to make it less complicated for the network to enjoy different locations via the content submitted by different users.
When the Explore layer is turned on, you will see huge icons of popular locations at the map, along side the content being shared by Snapchatters at the ones locations. This is an improvement to the prevailing Heat Map in which you spot famous locations and have the ability to watch stories shared at those locations by tapping them at the map.
Alongside Explore, Snapchat’s Map now has Memories in which you may see the snap shots and motion pictures you’ve got got captured at a specific place.
