Mrunal Thakur: I’d like to push myself out of my comfort zone

Mrunal Thakur, an actress, says she wants to keep developing herself and stepping outside of her comfort zone.

Mrunal rose to prominence after appearing on the television show ‘Kumkum Bhagya.’ In 2018, she made her cinematic debut with the drama ‘Love Sonia.’ Later films starring the 28-year-old actress included ‘Super 30’ and ‘Batla House.

‘Toofaan,’ a sports drama directed by National Award winner Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, is her most recent film. Farhan Akhtar and Paresh Rawal also star in the film.

Mrunal reflected on her path, saying: “I simply want to be known as a versatile actor who continues to experiment with herself and genres. I’d like to collaborate with a variety of filmmakers. I want to make sure that I step beyond of my comfort zone, as Farhan (Akhtar) taught me.”

Mrunal hopes that her art will inspire her fans.

She continued, ” “I believe I want to inspire others, and I don’t mind if it’s through my job. I just want to make sure I’m in a film that will leave an impression on the viewers. Also, and maybe most importantly, they must be relatable. It is critical to maintaining the link.”

Mrunal is now awaiting the release of her forthcoming films “Jersey” starring Shahid Kapoor and “Aankh Micholi.”
