I never pick films expecting that I will be a star: Mrunal Thakur

Entertainer Mrunal Thakur says that she has consistently taken tasks that will assist her to survive in the industry.She has some movies- ‘Toofan’, ‘Ankh MIcholi’,and ‘Jersey’ coming up.

She told IANS that she is happy that films are engaging more and more people. There were individuals and producers who requested her to do a couple of films which would make her famous. Yet, she never picks her movies believing that she will be a star. She needs to endure longer in the industry. One thing that endures longer is ability and exhibitions.

The entertainer adds that the medium has never truly made a difference to her.

Regardless of where her movies come, they should be acceptable. She adds that actually, her work is simply to be a piece of the film. That is the thing that her dream is. On account of OTT, amidst a pandemic, if I can entertain, that is just through OTT.

In any case, she feels shaky because of the current circumstances.

She also said that there is some insecurity and doubt on account of the time that we are living in. She is not fearful but a little stressed that a film ought to get the acknowledgment it merits. The pandemic has affected everything including the film industry.
