Sushant Singh Rajput case: Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea to be heard in sessions court
Rhea Chakraborty was on Tuesday arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau within the drugs case linked to Sushant Singh Rajput’s death. After her bail plea was rejected by a magistrate court, she was sent to judicial custody till September 22.

The Sushant Singh Rajput case saw its biggest development earlier within the week when Rhea Chakraborty was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau on charges of procuring drugs in conjunction with Sushant Singh Rajput and paying for the same . NCB made the arrest after three days of questioning Rhea, who is that the prime accused in boyfriend Sushant’s death.

After her bail plea was rejected by a magistrate court, Rhea was sent to judicial custody till September 22. Before the actor, her brother Showik Chakraborty was also arrested by NCB. No narcotics are recovered from either Rhea or Showik.

In its remand application to a magistrate court, NCB said, “It is additionally clear… that Rhea used to procure drugs for Rajput for consumption purposes. Rhea used to manage finances for drug procurement in conjunction with Rajput. As per disclosures made by her, she was arrested.”

The others arrested include the late Sushant Singh Rajput’s cook Dipesh Sawant and his housekeeper Samuel Miranda. Abbas Lakhani, Karn Arora and Kaizan Ebrahim, who were arrested in regard to the drugs case, are out on bail.
