Anwar Sagar-Veteran lyricist handed away on Wednesday, June three. He was in his 70s. The late lyricist was delivered to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital within the afternoon after his demise.
He penned many fashionable songs within the 80s and 90s. He wrote the lyrics of the tune ‘Waada Raha Sanam’ for the 1992 movie Khiladi, which starred Akshay Kumar and Ayesha Jhulka.
Anwar Sagar additionally labored with music composers like Nadeem-Shravan, Rajesh Roshan, Jatin-Lalit and Anu Malik. He had labored on a number of movies together with David Dhawan’s Yaraana, Sapne Saajan Ke, Khiladi, Essential Khiladi Tu Anari, Vijaypath amongst others.
