Veera, India’s premier mobile browser, has successfully raised $6 million in seed funding. This investment round was led by Ayon Capital, a notable investor in Brave, a globally recognized privacy-focused internet browser developed by the team behind Firefox.

Other participants in the funding round include 6th Man Ventures, Folius Ventures, The Operating Group, iSeed Ventures, Accomplice, and Cypher Capital.

The capital infusion will be utilized to accelerate product development, improve user experience, and implement strategies to expand Veera’s user base across India.

Veera, India’s innovative mobile browser with a focus on rewards, has secured $6 million in funding from a combination of institutional and angel investors.

The investment round was spearheaded by Ayon Capital, a notable investor renowned for its involvement in Brave, a leading privacy-focused internet browser developed by the team behind Firefox.

  4. iSeed Ventures, founded by Utsav Somani, former head of Angellist India, and backed by notable figures such as Naval Ravikant, Babak Nivi, and founders of companies like Xiaomi, Bolt, DST Global, and Matrix Partners
  5. Accomplice
  6. Cypher Capital

These investors bring significant expertise and resources to Veera Browser, positioning the company for accelerated growth and development.


Veera Browser, founded by Arjun Ghose and Rahul Pagdipati, with founding advisors Aditya Julka and Kanu Gupta, has quickly gained popularity in the Indian market due to its focus on providing a superior browsing experience and offering rewards based on user engagement.

The browser’s unique value proposition lies in its optimization for Android smartphones, catering specifically to the needs and preferences of mobile users in India.
