“Dil Chahta Hai,” featuring Saif Ali Khan alongside Aamir Khan and Akshaye Khanna, is one of Bollywood’s most cherished movies, known for its portrayal of friendship and youthful exuberance.

Sara Ali Khan recently shared a video reminiscent of her father Saif Ali Khan’s iconic scene from “Dil Chahta Hai” in what appears to be a teaser for an upcoming advertisement. The clip has garnered attention, with Farah Khan also sharing it on social media.

In the video, Sara Ali Khan is depicted wearing a bridal ivory lehenga while engaged in a phone call with someone named Sanjay. Similar to Saif Ali Khan’s scene in “Dil Chahta Hai,” where he attempts to converse with his girlfriend Priya, Sara’s character finds herself unable to speak as Sanjay dominates the conversation. Farah Khan shared the video, humorously questioning the identity of Sanjay and the reason behind Sara’s apparent agitation.

Social media users reacted nostalgically to the video, reminiscing about Saif’s iconic film. One user praised Sara’s natural acting, stating, “She proves why we love and admire Saif’s natural acting.” Another speculated about a potential sequel, asking, “Dil Chahta Hai Part 2?” Additionally, fans appreciated Sara’s recreation of her father’s scene, with one comment expressing, “So sweet @saraalikhan95 recreating your father’s scene.”

Sara Ali Khan is the eldest child of actor Saif Ali Khan and actress Amrita Singh. She has a younger brother named Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saif and Amrita divorced in 2004. Sara, along with her brother Ibrahim, shares a close bond with her father and is often seen spending time with him and his family, which includes his wife, actress Kareena Kapoor, and their sons, Jeh and Taimur.

Sara Ali Khan’s upcoming project is the Prime Video original movie titled “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” where she plays the role of a fictional freedom fighter named Usha Mehta. The film, produced by Dharmatic Entertainment and helmed by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, and Somen Mishra, is set to premiere on the OTT platform on March 21.

Sara Ali Khan’s most recent screen appearance was in the song “Heart Throb” from the film “Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.” Her last release was “Zara Hatke Zara Bachke,” in which she starred alongside Vicky Kaushal. Apart from “Ae Watan Mere Watan,” she has several other projects in the pipeline, including “Murder Mubarak,” “Metro… In Dino,” and an untitled project directed by Jagan Shakti.
