Jaya Bachchan, nominated for her fifth term in the Rajya Sabha, reportedly shares a combined wealth of ₹1,578 crore with her husband, veteran actor Amitabh Bachchan. According to an India Today report, an election affidavit filed by Jaya Bachchan reveals her personal net worth for the financial year 2022-23 to be ₹1,63,56,190, while Amitabh Bachchan’s net worth for the same year was ₹273,74,96,590.

Jaya Bachchan has been nominated by the Samajwadi Party (SP) for the Rajya Sabha. Additionally, it has been reported that the combined assets of Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan are worth ₹1,000 crore.

Jaya Bachchan, who filed her nomination papers on Tuesday, has been a member of the Samajwadi Party (SP) since 2004. According to reports, the combined movable property of Jaya and Amitabh Bachchan is valued at ₹849.11 crore, while their immovable property amounts to ₹729.77 crore. Additionally, Jaya’s bank balance is reported to be ₹10,11,33,172, while Amitabh’s is ₹120,45,62,083. These figures underscore the significant assets held by the Bachchan family.

Jaya Bachchan’s possessions include jewellery valued at ₹40.97 crore and a four-wheeler worth ₹9.82 lakh. Amitabh Bachchan owns jewellery worth ₹54.77 crore and a fleet of 16 vehicles, including two Mercedes and a Range Rover, collectively valued at ₹17.66 crore.
