Live Market Update: Nifty slips below 18,150, Sensex plunges by 450 points

The stock market indices, Nifty and Sensex, witnessed a decline, with Nifty falling below 18,150 and Sensex experiencing a 450-point drop.

Bank Nifty, a sectoral index, saw a slight increase of 37.95 points (0.09%) and traded below 43,520. However, Nifty IT faced a decline of 143.55 points (0.51%) and stood at 28,072.45.
