A rape case has been filed against Bollywood producer Bhushan Kumar.
Bhushan Kumar, a film producer, is in legal problems after the Mumbai Police filed a case against him for allegedly raping a 30-year-old lady. A probe is now underway, despite the fact that no arrests have been made.

‘Case registered u/s 376 IPC against Bhushan Kumar, managing director, T-Series, at DN Nagar Police station on claims of rape with a 30-year-old lady under the pretense of engaging her for a project at the company,’ according to a news agency. ‘An investigation is proceeding, but no arrests have been made so far.’

According to sources, the case was brought after a lady accused the producer of abusing her for nearly three years, from 2017 to August 2020, under the guise of securing work with his company. The accused victim also claims that Bhushan Kumar threatened to make her images and videos viral, according to Mumbai police sources.

While Bhushan Kumar’s statement has yet to be recorded by the police, the producer has remained silent on the claims.

This isn’t the first time the producer has been accused of something like this. During the #MeToo movement in 2018, an anonymous Twitter user accused Bhushan Kumar of sexual harassment, alleging that she was fired from a film because she refused to sleep with him.

Following that, Bhushan Kumar issued a statement saying that the #MeToo claims were being used to smear his name. ‘I am outraged and heartbroken to learn that my name has been dragged in this #MeToo by some anonymous person,’ Bhushan Kumar said in a statement to the news agency (s). On the surface, the claims against me appear to be serious. I have a sterling reputation and have always conducted myself professionally. ‘The tweet has been used to slander me and smear my reputation.’
