Hritik Roshan has given Rs 20 lakh to the Cine and TV Artistes’ Association (CINTAA). To help the individuals who are below the poverty line, he also gave ration packs to CINTAA. It has been confirmed by Amit Behl, General Secretary of CINTAA. He revealed that Hrithik had helped them last year as well by donating Rs 25 lakh. He said that the money will be used for the vaccination of the association members. Also, ration packs will be given to the individuals below the poverty line.
Amit tells that Vicky Kaushal, as well, has assisted CINTAA by donating Rs 2.5 lakh. Flora Saina has also donated Rs 25,000, and there are some different individuals who, as well, have made little effort to the affiliation. “Hrithiks’ huge donation will be of immense help to them.
Around 60% of members of CINTAA who are daily wage workers have lost their work because of the new Government rules. CINTAA has been trying to get some funds from its members. CINTAA has effectively given ration packs to 1400 individuals and given Rs 3000 to around 2000 individuals from the association, from the assets collected over time”.
During the first wave of the pandemic also, many celebrities like Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra, etc. had come forward to help.
