In an unexpected declaration on Thursday, extremely rich person ByteDance organizer Zhang Yiming said he will venture down from the CEO work before the year’s over, when he’ll change to another part at the Chinese social media giant. Most popular for his organization’s short-video application TikTok and news accumulation application Toutiao, Zhang, who’s only 37 years of age, is the most recent Chinese tech extremely rich person to step down from his organization as of late.

In a statement he said that he lacks  some of the skills that make an ideal manager. He’s more interested in analyzing market and organizational principles. Then, leveraging these theories to reduce management work, rather than actually managing the people working in the organization. Adding to this, he said he prefers solitary activities and is not very social in nature.

He stated that after giving due consideration, he came to a conclusion that transitioning out of the role of a CEO would enable him to have greater impact on longer initiatives.

Zhang, who’s net worth  is $36 billion, reported that Liang Rubo, who previously headed ByteDance’s innovative work and who right now drives its HR office, will be his replacement. The two men will cooperate on the change in the following half year. Zhang has not said what his new part at ByteDance will be, however he demonstrated that he will work more on magnanimity and long haul projects once he hands over the everyday activities.

The resignation of Zhang, Huang and Ma have come as tech organizations are progressively being put under a microscope in China, as President Xi Jinping hopes to get control over the power and risks presented by the new tech companies.
