Recently, there were rumors circulating that Yash would be starring in Prasanth Varma’s “Jai Hanuman.” However, Yash’s team has clarified the situation, offering their perspective on the matter.
Recently, reports surfaced suggesting that Yash was contemplating taking on the role of Lord Hanuman in Prasanth Varma’s “Jai Hanuman.” This film serves as a sequel to the Teja Sajja-starrer “HanuMan,” which premiered this Sankranthi and is presently screening in theaters. However, Yash’s team refuted these assertions in an interview with India Today, debunking the rumors.
Yash’s team dismissed the rumors as “baseless and false.” Addressing the speculation about Yash portraying the titular role in the sequel, the source stated, “There is no truth to the reports; he is not considering any such role. Rocking Star Yash puts a lot of time and consideration into each film he chooses to do, and right now he is completely consumed with ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’.”
Reports have surfaced suggesting that Yash has agreed to portray the character of Ravan in Nitesh Tiwari’s adaptation of Ramayana. Despite earlier rumors last year that he declined the role, recent reports continue to suggest his involvement in the project.
Additionally, the film is rumored to feature Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram and Sai Pallavi as Sita. However, neither the film’s team nor the actors have made an official announcement regarding their involvement in the project.
“HanuMan” emerged as the underdog amidst several big-budget and star-studded releases lined up for the Sankranthi season. Despite clashing with major films like “Guntur Kaaram,” “Saindhav,” and “Naa Saami Ranga,” featuring renowned actors such as Mahesh Babu, Venkatesh, Shraddha Srinath, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Nagarjuna, “HanuMan” managed to hold its ground at the box office. The film not only found success in the Telugu states but also garnered attention and appreciation in North India.
Yash recently portrayed the iconic role of Rocky Bhai in Prashanth Neel’s highly anticipated film, “KGF: Chapter 2.” Up next, he is set to appear in the Kannada movie “Toxic,” scheduled for release in April next year. Notably, Yash has taken on the role of co-producer for “Toxic,” a departure from his usual creative producer role.
The film will be released under his banner, Monster Mind Creations, in collaboration with KVN Productions. The announcement video for the film has already generated significant interest and anticipation among fans.
