Anil Kapoor, on Monday, shared an update on the worldwide box office performance of the film “Fighter” on his social media account (previously known as Twitter). He posted a poster of the film displaying the figures: “Flying past ₹337 crore gross box office worldwide. India 243+ crore GBOC, Overseas 94+ crore.” In his caption, Anil expressed his enthusiasm with “Fighter Forever” along with an Indian flag emoji. This update indicates the film’s significant success both domestically and internationally, with a total gross box office collection of over ₹337 crore.
“Fighter” features Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor in key roles, portraying members of the elite IAF unit, Air Dragons. The film, an aerial action drama, pays tribute to the courage and patriotism of the Indian armed forces. Produced by Viacom18 Studios and Marflix Pictures, it marks the first on-screen collaboration between Hrithik and Deepika.
Director Siddharth Anand addressed a legal notice received for a kissing scene between Hrithik and Deepika in the film “Fighter.” In an interview with The Times of India, he stated that the film had undergone thorough procedures with the Indian Air Force (IAF), including script submission, production planning, pre-censor screening, and obtaining a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the IAF. He emphasized the IAF’s collaboration and support throughout the film’s making.
