Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan was seen arriving in Ayodhya and paying a visit to the newly consecrated Ram Mandir.
Amitabh Bachchan, the renowned actor, made a visit to Ayodhya on Friday to pay his respects at the recently consecrated Ram Mandir. This visit follows his participation in the consecration ceremony, which took place a few days ago in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Amitabh Bachchan was captured in a video sourced by PTI, surrounded by heavy security as he made his way to the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya to seek blessings. The news agency shared the video, stating, “Actor Amitabh Bachchan (@SrBachchan) visits Ayodhya’s Ram Mandir to offer prayers.” In the footage, Bachchan is dressed in traditional attire as he approaches the temple. According to NDTV, the actor’s visit to Uttar Pradesh also includes inaugurating a new showroom for a prominent jewellery brand, for which he serves as the brand ambassador.
Amitabh Bachchan’s previous visit to Ayodhya was on January 22 for the pran prathishta ceremony of the Ram Mandir. He was one of the thousands of guests invited from the entertainment, sports, and political fields. Accompanied by his son, actor Abhishek Bachchan, he attended the event. Afterward, Bachchan shared some pictures on social media platforms, including a glimpse of the Ram Lalla idol in the temple.
In his blog, Amitabh Bachchan described his visit to Ayodhya for the pran prathishta ceremony as “a day filled with the relevance of divine spirit.” He expressed his thoughts, saying, “A day filled with the relevance of divine spirit… back from the Pran Pratishtha ceremony at Ayodhya… the glory, the celebration, and the belief of faith… immersed in the reckoning of the TEMPLE at Shri Ram’s birth… Not much can be said beyond this… for faith does not possess description… (sic)” This reflects the profound impact of the ceremony and the significance of the temple in his experience.
