Spread the love

Google provides users with the flexibility to change the language settings across all its services, including the Chrome browser, on both Android and iOS devices.

Changing the language settings on Google, whether on desktop or mobile browsers, is a straightforward process. Regardless of the language you prefer, Google allows users to customize their experience across all its services, including the Chrome browser. This includes adding more languages to the browser, services, or specific web pages, as well as modifying the default language. Here’s a guide on how to make these language adjustments for a more user-friendly experience.

To change the language of Chrome on Android devices, users can follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome on your Android device.
  2. Tap “More” on the right of the address bar.
  3. Navigate to “Languages” in the Settings option.
  4. Under the ‘Chrome’s language’ tab, click on the current language.
  5. A list of languages will appear. Choose your desired language from the list.

To translate a webpage in Chrome on Android, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome on your Android device.
  2. Navigate to a webpage that is written in another language.
  3. A notification will appear at the top of the screen, prompting you to tap the language you want to translate the page to.

If you don’t see the Translate notification at the top, you can manually request a translation by following these additional steps:

  1. In the right side of the address bar, tap on ‘More.’
  2. Select the ‘Translate’ option.

To translate webpages in Chrome on iOS devices, you can follow these steps:

  1. Open Google Chrome on your iPhone or iPad.
  2. Navigate to a webpage that is written in a different language.
  3. At the top of the screen, select the language you want to translate the page to.

To change the default language in Chrome on iOS:

  1. Open Settings.
  2. Navigate to the “More languages” option.
  3. Select the desired language.

If Chrome doesn’t prompt for translation, try refreshing the webpage. If the Translate option is still unavailable, it suggests that the language may not be supported for translation.
