Some teams within IBM had already implemented office attendance requirements, as outlined in a November memo to employees in the infrastructure business unit. The memo mandated a minimum of three days a week at company locations, with higher expectations for managers and executives to be present in the office more frequently. This approach reflects IBM’s proactive stance in prioritizing in-person engagement for certain roles within the company.
