Rishabh Pant Recovers at NCA from Year-old Road Accident Injuries
Rishabh Pant Joins Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli at Chinnaswamy Stadium
Rishabh Pant, currently recovering from injuries at the National Cricket Academy (NCA), visited the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore to meet and support his Indian cricket teammates during their practice session on Tuesday.
Rishabh Pant, currently recuperating at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) after a road accident last year, visited the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore. He was seen interacting with teammates, including captain Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, ahead of the 3rd T20I against Afghanistan on Wednesday.
Rishabh Pant, dressed in a t-shirt and shorts, participated in some net sessions at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. He faced throwdowns from the National Cricket Academy (NCA) staff and engaged in shadow batting in the middle of the venue.
Rishabh Pant had joined the Delhi Capitals camp in November of the previous year and was also present at the franchise’s IPL auction table in Dubai in December.
Sourav Ganguly, the Director of Cricket for the Delhi Capitals, expressed optimism about Rishabh Pant’s return to professional cricket.
Rishabh Pant, who last represented the Indian cricket team in December 2022 during a Test match against Bangladesh in Mirpur, has been on the road to recovery from injuries sustained in a road accident a year ago. Recently, he paid a visit to the Indian team at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore ahead of the 3rd T20I against Afghanistan. Despite being out of action, Pant has been involved in activities like attending the Delhi Capitals camp in November and participating in the IPL auction, showing optimism about his return to professional cricket.
