Deepika Padukone shared on her Instagram Stories that she would be missing the trailer launch event of “Fighter” due to illness. In her post, she expressed her regret at not being able to attend the event, referring to her team as “my Squadron” and added emojis suggesting that she might be unwell, possibly with a fever. Despite her absence, she extended her best wishes to the team of “Fighter” for the trailer launch.

Deepika Padukone and Siddharth Anand have previously collaborated on two films, “Bachna Ae Haseeno” (2008) and “Pathaan.” “Bachna Ae Haseeno” is a romantic comedy film directed by Siddharth Anand and produced by Yash Raj Films. The film also stars Ranbir Kapoor, Bipasha Basu, and Minissha Lamba. The duo’s collaboration extends to “Pathaan,” a highly anticipated film that is part of the YRF spy universe and features Shah Rukh Khan in the lead role.

“Pathaan” (2023) is an action thriller film in which Shah Rukh Khan starred opposite Deepika Padukone. The film also features John Abraham, Dimple Kapadia, and Ashutosh Rana. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is part of the YRF spy universe and was produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. “Pathaan” created significant buzz before its release, as it marked Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen after a brief hiatus.

The soundtrack of “Fighter” has seen the release of three songs so far: “Sher Khul Gaye,” “Ishq Jaisa Kuch,” and the pilot theme song “Heer Aasmani.” Composed by Vishal & Shekhar, with lyrics written by Kumaar, and sung by Vishal Dadlani, Shekhar Ravjiani, and B Praak, these songs contribute to the film’s musical narrative.

Deepika Padukone is set to appear in the sci-fi action thriller film “Kalki 2898 AD,” alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Prabhas, Kamal Hassan, and Disha Patani. Originally scheduled for release on January 12, the film will now hit theaters on May 9. “Kalki 2898 AD” gained attention after its debut at San Diego Comic-Con in the previous year.
