Meghna Gulzar’s “Sam Bahadur,” a biopic centered on India’s first field marshal, Sam Manekshaw, has been gradually gaining momentum at the global box office.

The Vicky Kaushal starrer has successfully crossed the coveted ₹100 crore milestone worldwide, indicating its widespread popularity and commercial success.

A fraction of Animal

“Sam Bahadur” achieves ₹100 crore global grossers status, but lags significantly behind the film released on the same day, 18 days ago, on December 1.

Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s family crime drama “Animal,” starring Ranbir Kapoor, has dominated with a staggering ₹835.9 crore in global earnings during the same period, establishing itself as the clear winner among the two films released on that day.

Sam Bahadur’s domestic collection

As per the latest figures reported by Sacnilk, “Sam Bahadur” has amassed ₹76 crore in India within a span of 17 days.

Vicky Kaushal, who portrays a significant role in the biopic, has garnered considerable acclaim from his fans for his performance.

Recently, Vicky expressed his gratitude to his fans on Instagram, sharing a behind-the-scenes picture from the makeup room during the “Sam Bahadur” shoot. The actor thanked his fans for their overwhelming love and support.
