Since the historic success of Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Prabhas has faced inconsistency in his career. Despite high expectations following the super success of SS Rajamouli’s directorial, he is yet to deliver a significant hit. Even his last release, Adipurush, turned out to be a box office disappointment. In light of this latest setback, the actor has reportedly made a significant decision that may affect his rumored action film with Siddharth Anand.
For those unaware, Adipurush was a massive project, mounted on a grand scale, and has been rumored to be the most expensive Indian film ever made, although the official budget remains undisclosed. However, right from the start, the movie faced negative publicity and controversies. Unfortunately, it turned out to be one of the biggest disasters, with dismal performance at the box office, plagued by multiple controversies that emerged after its release.
According to a report by Track Tollywood, Prabhas has taken a significant decision following the failure of Om Raut’s directorial, Adipurush. It is learned that the actor has decided to refrain from working with any Bollywood directors at the moment. He is currently not open to considering scripts from Bollywood and will instead focus on projects from other film industries.
Prabhas has gone a step further and paused his already-committed film with Siddharth Anand. The production of the action-packed movie will not commence in the near future. It remains to be seen when the actor will return to working on his Bollywood projects.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Prabhas is set to appear in Prashanth Neel’s Salaar, which is slated for release on September 28, 2023. The film has generated immense pre-release excitement and is anticipated to mark a powerful comeback for the Baahubali star.
