Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has achieved an impressive milestone, crossing the Rs. 25 crores mark within just two days. Saturday’s box office numbers showed significant growth compared to Friday, where it had earned Rs. 11.10 crores.
This surge in earnings was crucial as it ensured a lively weekend for the much-anticipated Karan Johar big-budget film. Meeting this target was imperative, given the high expectations surrounding the movie. Without this boost, the weekend might have been lackluster, which wouldn’t have been the desired outcome for such a major production.
Fortunately, the film has experienced notable growth, as evident from Saturday’s collections of Rs. 16.05 crores, indicating a positive trajectory going forward.
The entire team involved in the family drama is hopeful that this momentum will continue on Sunday, with strong indications of further growth. If the film manages to garner Rs. 18-19 crores today, it will set the stage for a weekend of consolidation.
Currently, the film has accumulated Rs. 27.15 crores. Although it was initially anticipated that the Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt starrer would achieve a weekend total of Rs. 45-50 crores, it is now expected to reach Rs. 44-45 crores, with the possibility of additional earnings before the start of the weekdays.
