Instead of his usual ‘Large’ size T-shirt, Suryakumar received a medium-sized one and ended up taking the field in Barbados wearing Sanju Samson’s jersey.
Due to an issue with the T-shirt size and a delay in receiving a replacement, Suryakumar Yadav ended up wearing Sanju Samson’s jersey during the first ODI against West Indies in Barbados on Thursday.
According to The Indian Express, Yadav had informed the team management about the size problem with his jersey on the eve of the game. Despite participating in a photo shoot with the original T-shirt, he had requested a change to a larger size.
However, on the day of the match, Yadav was given a ‘medium’ size jersey instead of the ‘large’ size he had requested. As a result, he took the field wearing Sanju Samson’s jersey.
