Sources indicate that Vaibhavi Upadhyaya met with a road accident in Himachal Pradesh on Tuesday afternoon, May 23. She was traveling with her fiancé when the vehicle lost control at a sharp turn. Vaibhavi has played significant roles in various films, including Chhapaak.

JD Majethia, deeply affected by the untimely demise of the Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actress, confirmed the news with an official statement shared on his Instagram story. The statement reads, “Life is so unpredictable. A very fine actress, dear friend Vaibhavi Upadhyay, popularly known as ‘Jasmine’ from Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, passed away. She met with an accident in the north. The family will bring her to Mumbai tomorrow morning around 11 am for the last rites. RIP Vaibhavi.”

Rupali Ganguly, who worked alongside Vaibhavi Upadhyaya in the beloved sitcom Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, expressed her sorrow on her official Instagram handle. She shared a still of Vaibhavi from their iconic series on her Instagram story with a caption that reads, “Gone too soon Vaibhavi…” Later, Rupali shared an Instagram reel video of Vaibhavi Upadhyaya and wrote, “Can’t believe this…”
