An emotional note was written by Riddhima Kapoor Sahni after her father-in-law passes away

Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor’s daughter Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s father-in-law Shrawan Sahni breathed his last on Monday. Mourning the loss of her father-in-law, Ridhhima took to her Instagram handle today and shared an image of him to pay tribute in an emotional note. “💔 We will miss you,” she wrote in the caption of the post.

Shrawan Sahni was Riddhima’s husband Bharat Sahni’s father. As soon as the post went live, Alia Bhatt’s mother Soni Razdan commented, “Deepest condolences and love.” Celebrities consisting of Dia Mirza, Ameesha Patel, Sophie Choudry, and others extended condolences in the comment section for the family.

Meanwhile, Riddhima’s husband Bharat has put up details of his late father’s last rites on social media. Sharing the information with their dear ones, he captioned the post, “Will always miss you Dad!”

Apart from Bharat, Neetu Kapoor had additionally offered prayers for the family as she paid homage to the departed soul. For the unversed, Ranbir Kapoor’s sister Riddhima Kapoor tied the knot with Bharat in 2006 only after dating for a few years. Later in 2011, the couple was blessed with their daughter Samara. While Ranbir followed the footsteps of his parents and joined the acting industry, Riddhima kept herself away from the acting industry and is presently operating as a jewelry designer.

When requested if she ever dreamt of turning into an actor, she informed us, “Oh gosh! Kidhar se karu acting (how do I act)? When I was in London, I was getting a lot of film offers but I don’t think I ever thought of it. Not that I even had a discussion about it with my family. I came back from London and got married. When I was studying, I remember my mother would tell me about the film offers coming my way and I’d wonder what to make of them because I was only 16-17 at the time.”
