Deepika Padukone is back to the grind, juggling her time among the units of her upcoming movies. Besides filming her thrilling new projects, the actress is likewise playing producer for Kabir Khan’s sports drama ’83, starring Ranveer Singh in the lead.
The actress, who’s presently in Hyderabad, taking pictures for her subsequent movie with Prabhas, will quickly be heading again home to resume her commitments as a producer.
A source informs us, “Deepika is currently shooting for Nag Ashwin’s next in Hyderabad with Prabhas. She will be back soon and will start the promotions of ’83 that she co-produced. Deepika has been leaving no stone unturned in ensuring that the inspiring sports drama, scheduled to release on 24th December gets mounted on a big scale.”
In the movie providing an ensemble cast, Deepika performs the role of Romi Dev opposite hubby Ranveer, who will play the role of Kapil Dev.
Besides ‘83, Deepika has an extended listing of movies on her slate including ‘Mahabharata’ so as to see her play the role of Draupadi. Nag Ashwin’s ‘Project K’, ‘The Intern Remake’ with Amitabh Bachchan, ‘Pathan’ with Shah Rukh Khan, ‘Fighter’ with Hrithik Roshan and Shakun Batra’s untitled next.
