After having inspired the worldwide audiences together along with his titular role in Victoria and Abdul, Ali Fazal bagged one of the leads in Kenneth Brannagh’s upcoming movie Death On The Nile. And quickly after .. Ali is ready to star in his subsequent large Hollywood flick. This time, in an action thriller.
The movie, that stars Gerard Butler, will now be joined by Ali Fazal in one of the leading parts. The movie is being directed by Ric Roman Waugh, who has formerly directed movies which includes Angel Has Fallen, Felon, Greenland, and his upcoming movie with JK Simmons National Champions amongst many others.
The movie is helmed by Waugh based on the screenplay he developed with former navy intelligence officer Mitchell LaFortune. The story is based on Mitchell’s studies on the Defense Intelligence Agency in Afghanistan. The movie’s shoot is expected to start quickly in Saudi Arabia.
The movie is being produced by Thunder Road Films, the producers of the John Wick and Sicario, G-BASE and Capstone Group.
His forthcoming Hollywood launch consists of Death on the Nile additionally starring Gal Gadot set to launch in February 2022.
