Big blockbusters will perform well on Box Office only if they are good, says Salman Khan

Spread the love

Bollywood celeb Salman Khan, whose film ‘Antim: The Final Truth’ was launched recently, says if the script of a movie is good, it’s going to bring people to theatres. The action-thriller movie, additionally starring Salman’s brother-in-law Aayush Sharma and famous TV actor Mahima Makwana, is an adaptation of the Marathi hit ‘Mulshi Pattern’ (2018), which explores the tough situations confronted by farmers that pushes a number of them in the direction of crime.

“Only one thing, which is the script, can bring people to theatres. It totally relies upon on the promo, the trailer, and once people love it then they go to watch the film in theatres. Then it is word of mouth that helps a film.” “No matter how massive the movie is, it’s going to not do well if it is not good. The smallest of movies do well and do massive in numbers due to the script. That’s how the movie works commercially,” Khan informed us in an interview.

The actor stated he’s glad with the response to the Mahesh Manjrekar-directed ‘Antim’, that is defined as a gripping story of powerful guys with polar contrary ideologies; one a cop (Khan) and the alternative a gangster (Sharma). “It is the happiest moment for all of us that people went to theatres to watch the movie and that Aayush was appreciated and everyone else too was appreciated including me, Mahesh, Mahima, and others.”

“It is a win-win situation for us. Now, we’re going to all towns to promote the film and make them aware that I am now no longer there in the movie for simply 15 minutes but more,” he stated. According to Khan, the misconception that he has a screen time of barely 10 mins in “Antim” is apparent after the release of the film. “People had seen ‘Mulshi Pattern’ and the actor who’s there in the original is there for 4 scenes. Going by this belief that I am additionally there for that much time, then it means that Aayush has taken an opening of Rs 4 crore. My opening is slightly more,” the actor, whose highest opening day movie was 2015’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’ grossing Rs forty one crore, quipped.

Khan stated they improved the plot of ‘Antim’ from the unique movie before Aayush got here on board and he trained hard for the role. In ‘Antim”, Khan has been portrayed as a cop, who isn’t always larger-than-life, in contrast to his outing as the policeman Chulbul Pandey in the extremely famous ‘Dabangg’ series. Asked about this, the actor stated he attempts his best to portray what his audiences want. “I need to give my audience different things that they want. I have to give them what they like to see in me, action or romance or humour all the time,” he stated. “If you see my films, all of them are clean, there is no abusive language or kissing. You will see a lot of action or little action. But the values and the dos and don’ts will be the same,” he added.
