Atrangi Re is brilliantly led by Dhanush and Sara, says Akshay Kumar

The celebrity talks about his unique position in director Aanand L Rai’s upcoming movie; opens up at the box office overall performance of Sooryavanshi Actor Akshay Kumar is driving high at the achievement of Sooryavanshi. The theatrically launched movie is ready to go into the ₹200-crore club. As he gears up for the release of Atrangi Re, he talks to us about his element in the movie, solidarity in the enterprise, and greater.

Excerpts: God has been so kind, but this wouldn’t have been viable with out the help from our fans. To be able to come this far, with handiest 50% occupancy (in theatres) in a few states, is greater than what I could have wished for. Cinemagoers deserved a celebration after this sort of lengthy and painful pandemic. There’s not anything like dealing with a task this massive and being the first movie to open the doors, understanding that your peers, colleagues and idols are rooting for you.

I pray this sense of togetherness stays forever. I felt we were keen on one and one for all. I sense I’ve reached an area in life, wherein I do things due to the fact I need to do them and now no longer due to the fact I actually have to. Atrangi Re makes you fall in love with love. There wasn’t even a flicker of doubt in my soul. I felt nothing but gratitude to be part of a movie, so brilliantly led through (actors) Dhanush and Sara Ali Khan.

Aanand L Rai (director) captivated me. Whether I simply have a unique role on an elephant in his movie, sometimes, simply being invited to the party is enough. I love the world he creates… it is vibrant and colourful, but complicated, which fascinates me. He is aware of his characters properly and he has a robust expertise of complicated human emotions, that is why he manages to exhibit them so beautifully. His ardour for storytelling and conviction for his memories has made me collaborate with him, not once but three times already. All the movies are yet to release.

Have you ever heard a person say they’re uninterested in their authentic love? When you’re as fortunate as I am and get to stay your dream, work, chase, recognize and respect your dream each single day. There isn’t a minute that is going through when you feel worn out. I feel alive, greater than ever.

All I want is an early night and a wholesome breakfast, and I’m satisfied to entertain all day long. I can be a Grinch at night time, however as soon as the sun rises, it doesn’t depend what sort of week I’ve had. Every new day in the industry is a blessing. There’s no time to be tired.
