Google Meet has brought new immersive backgrounds and patterns that permit Web users to change their backgrounds during a video call. The platform has brought new lively backdrops known as Cafe and Condo which will help users constitute their current time zone and climate. Both the interiors will have a couple of iterations along with rainy, sunny, or snowy weather, together with morning and night time time zones.

The new lively background alternatives are rolling out for Google Workspace customers, and G Suite Basic and Business customers.
Personal Google accounts can’t avail it currently. Google stated that it may take up to fifteen days for eligible devices to see the brand new options. Google additionally warns that converting the background might also additionally slow down the device. In an attempt to rival Zoom, Google added custom backgrounds for video calls again in 2020. Since then, the video calling platform was bringing updates and changes to the feature.
In September this year, it brought a brand new settings panel to provide fast access to effects including background blur, background images, and patterns. Also, the company introduced a functionality to correct bad lighting during video calls. The feature automatically detects when a Web user appears underexposed during a video call and complements the brightness in their device to improve visibility.
