Actress Mandira Bedi has turned to her official Instagram account to comfort all of her well-wishers and remind herself that it’s ‘time to begin over’ following the death of her husband, filmmaker Raj Kaushal. ‘I am worthy, capable, loved, and powerful,’ Mandira Bedi wrote in her note. The actress captioned her photo of the handwritten note, ‘Time to begin anew,’ and added the hashtag #dailyaffirmation to her image.
Raj Bedi, Mandira Bedi’s spouse and the father of her children, passed away last month. At the age of 49, he died in Mumbai from a heart arrest. Several followers and friends expressed their admiration for her in the comments area. ‘True that,’ wrote Arjun Bijlani. ‘You’re a champion!!!!!!’ said one fan, while another commented, ‘Sending you all the love and strength.’
She had also recently shared a photo of her son, Vir, on her Instagram stories. Vir is seen sitting on a sofa in the photo. In a yellow T-shirt and blue pajamas, the small child poses for the camera. Mandira embellished the post with heart emoticons. Last week, the actress posted a photo of her family and expressed her gratitude for all of the love and support she has received. Mandira Bedi was seen posing with her parents and two children, Vir and Tara, in the photo. ‘Only Love. #Grateful for my #Family and all the love, support, and kindness #gratitude #love #thanks,’ Mandira captioned the photo.
Mandira and Raj had been together for 25 years, 23 of which were spent as husband and wife. They initially met in 1996, when the then-aspiring filmmaker was auditioning for a show as Mukul Anand’s chief assistant. The two began dating at the end of the same year. On February 14, 1999, they married.
