Kareena Kapoor Khan, the Bollywood actress, is speaking up about her life as a mother and a film star like she’s never done before. The actress is offering fans an intimate perspective of the ups and downs that come with parenthood in her new book, which is now enmeshed in controversy over its title. She opened up about being a working mom and the encouragement and support she received when she returned to work soon after receiving her babies, in addition to sharing her pregnancy challenges.
The actress, who was praised by many for returning to work just months after giving birth to her boys Taimur Ali Khan and Jeh Ali Khan, disclosed the genuine reason for doing so. Her mother-in-law, Sharmila Tagore, she claimed, was the one who pushed her to return to work as soon as possible. Not only her mother-in-law but also her husband, Saif Ali Khan, proved to be a huge source of support and encouragement as she considered returning to the set.
“My mother-in-law was also among the first to urge me that I had to keep working,” she writes in her book. Her advice was to go ahead and do anything I wanted, but to do it confidently. After her marriage and children, she accomplished some outstanding work in the movies and was a true inspiration.”
Bebo also mentioned that her mother, Babita, was an inspiration to her and that her father, Randhir, pushed her to keep going. “I threw myself headfirst into not one, but two pregnancies, and now I have these two tots in my life who make every day feel a little crazy, a little special, a little exhausting, and a little gratifying,” the proud mother exclaimed.
