Tisca Chopra delivers rice packets to theatre employees, in the midst of the pandemic

Tisca Chopra, the aactress, has been at the vanguard of the country’s fight against the deadly COVID-19 epidemic.

Tisca did everything she could to support individuals throughout the ongoing health crisis, from boosting COVID relief supplies SOS requests on social media to assisting people with medical equipment arrangements.

She then went out to the suburbs of Mumbai on Friday to distribute 1500 kg of rice packs to theatre employees.

“We’ve all heard about how theatres have been shut down. It’s been almost a year and a half since we last spoke. Single-screen movie theatres have borne the burden of the same. In normal times, these theatres are the social hubs of the area, and they may be the only sources of entertainment for the locals. “And these theatre employees have been unemployed for a long time. We decided to include this as part of our campaign because I felt we needed to reach out in whatever manner we could “she continued.

Tisca also urged everyone to provide a helping hand to those in need during these tough times.

“If each of us comes out and helps, we might be able to alleviate some of the suffering around us, at least in terms of food and basic necessities. It makes no difference whether the assistance is modest or large “she stated
