Kareena Kapoor Khan was raised by her mother, Babita, and sister, Karisma Kapoor. The actress has remarked about watching her sister struggle to get into Bollywood during her early years.
Kareena Kapoor reportedly revealed in a throwback interview with Simi Garewal that she had seen her sister Karisma Kapoor sit up for nights with her mother Babita and cry. People were attempting to put her down at work, according to reports. Karisma was worried, that she would never make it in Bollywood, said Kareena. They didn’t want young Kareena to witness them in pain, so Kareena would stand behind them and see them, revealed Kareena.
Kareena went on to say that she had gone through all her sister and mother had gone through as a child. She went on to remark that everything has only strengthened her. She understands how to fight back now if someone attempts to put her down since she has seen her mother and sister go through it.
Kareena and Karisma are still very close. They are frequently seen together on holidays and hanging out with their BFFs Malaika and Amrita Arora. All of the Kapoor sisters’ important occasions are also celebrated with their family.
Karisma is presently not working on any projects. She has two children, Samaira and Kiaan Raj Kapoor, and is a single mother.
Whereas, Kareena is married to Saif Ali Khan and has two children, Taimur and a newborn baby boy.
Kareena currently awaits the release of her latest film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha,’ with Aamir Khan. The film is an authentic remake of the Tom Hanks-starring film “Forrest Gump.” Aside from that, she’ll be seen in Karan Johar’s next historical drama, “Takht.”
