Vidyut Jammwal begins his trip to Hollywood among icons such as Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jet Li, after being recognised as one of the world’s finest martial artists. He is presently the only Indian action superstar to be signed by Wonder Street, the industry’s most prestigious talent management agency, which also represents Tony Jaa, Michael Jaa White, and Dolph Lundgren.
Last year, the ‘Khuda Haafiz’ actor interacted with action stars from all around the world through his conversation series X-Rayed By Vidyut, who took their enthusiasm for martial arts beyond their countries’ borders. While Vidyut has been doing the same thing with Kalaripayattu, the fitness sensation now has another wide avenue to pursue in Hollywood. Jammwal is ready to place India on the global map through his work in the West, as the industry calls him. He’ll be represented by Wonder Street partners Christine Holder and Mark Holder.
The significant shift comes after a string of triumphs for the action star and martial artist, including the ‘Commando’ series, ‘Khuda Haafiz,’ and ‘Junglee.’ This year, he launched his own film production company, Action Hero Films. According to the source, he is in talks with a few well-known Hollywood producers about collaborating with his production company.
“I’m pleased to be connected with some of Hollywood’s hardest working folks,” Jammwal said of his relationship with the talent management agency.
Sanak and Khuda Haafiz Chapter II are two of Jammwal’s future flicks.
