Dimple Kapadia, a veteran actress, gets a year older today. While fans continue to offer well wishes to the ageless beauty, Karan Kapadia, her nephew, talked warmly of her in an exclusive interview with a leading media house.
“After all this time, it’s extremely hard to articulate, the influence that she’s had on me and my life,” spouts Karan who shares an exceptionally close bond with his Aunt. He proceeded to add how she has consistently been a motivation to him. “She’s not just played the role of both my parents but is also one of the best role models.” She deserves all the happiness and accomplishment on the planet and I trust this is her best birthday ever!” he adds emotionally.
Karan Kapadia is the son of Simple Kapadia. Simple Kapadia, Dimple’s late sister, was a well-known performer and costume designer. Karan is close with his cousin sister Twinkle Khanna and her actor-husband Akshay Kumar, in addition to Dimple. Dimple is one of the powerful and attractive ladies in his life, according to the rising actor, who dedicates social media postings to her on a daily basis.
Karan had previously described Dimple as an inspiration, writing, “You continue to lift the standard even after 47 years in the profession, and you deserve everything and more. You’re a role model, a fantastic performer, and an even greater person. I love you.”
Karan was most recently seen in the film ‘Durgavati,’ alongside Bhumi Pednekar. On the other hand following the success of Christopher Nolan’s ‘Tenet,’ birthday girl Dimple will play a role alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt, and Ranbir Kapoor in Ayan Mukerji’s ‘Brahmastra.’ Dinesh Vijan’s unnamed comedy also features her.
