Anushka Sharma is a successful producer as well as a top actor. Her climb to the top, however, has not been without setbacks. She’s faced her fair share of setbacks and rejections. Anushka spoke about being criticised primarily on her appearance at the young age of 15 in a nostalgic interview with a news portal in 2017.
Anushka said that she had been rejected when she was just 15 years old. She was frequently dropped from programmes, chosen for an advertisement, and then would get replaced. Although she recognises that all of this is an unavoidable aspect of the profession and life in general, she believes that being subjected to and judged only on the basis of one’s appearance at the juvenile age of 15 may be quite mentally devastating. It affects your self-esteem, she claims, and she has coped with it.
Anushka went on to say that a director or casting director can pass an indirect remark on set, which she elaborated on. She claims to be clever enough to comprehend what they are saying. She went on to say that their comments are backed up by politically correct utterances.
Anushka Sharma is the proud mother of Vamika, her newborn girl with Indian cricketer Virat Kohli. She is currently in England for an upcoming cricket event with her cricketer husband.
Meanwhile, she was most recently seen in Aanand L Rai’s film “Zero,” which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Katrina Kaif. The film got mixed reviews from reviewers and the general public. Her next film is yet to be disclosed.
