Actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani, photographer Colston Julian, Kwan Entertainment founder Anirban Blah, and T-Series’ Krishan Kumar are among the nine people charged in the case.
A model-turned-independent artist and songwriter filed an FIR at the Bandra police station earlier this month, on Monday. The FIR was filed in response to a report of suspected rape and molestation, and nine high-profile individuals have been charged in connection with the case. Actor-filmmaker Jackky Bhagnani, Bollywood photographer Colston Julian, Founder of Kwan Entertainment Anirban Blah, and T-Series’ Krishan Kumar are among the suspects mentioned in the FIR, according to reports. The woman also told the newspaper that the cops filed the FIR a few days after she submitted her complaint letter and that none of the suspects had been arrested yet.
Leading news organisations contacted Bhagnani, Julian, Blah, and Kumar for comment. “I also came to know through the papers only,” T-Series’ Krishan Kumar told the media outlet, “but I don’t know what allegations they have put.” I just want to point out that this is false. I have nothing to conceal, and have all the evidence . But I can’t give it to the media right now; I have to give it to the cops first. But I’ll disclose it to the media later so that everyone is aware of how some people seek to exploit others. I have nothing to be afraid of; this is completely false. This is nothing more than a smear campaign against me.”
“It is a fraudulent case, and we will assist the authorities concerned in any manner possible,” said photographer Colston Julian’s lawyer, Ravina Rajpal. The case is still under investigation and is currently in court. We’re also looking into legal options, such as defamation, in the near future.”
Blah and Bhagnani have yet to respond. Once we hear from them, we’ll update you with the same.
