Twinkle Khanna recently released a video on Instagram in which she reviewed Huma Qureshi’s upcoming film Maharani and praised her for the political drama.

Huma Qureshi’s stunning performance in her newest film Maharani has left everyone amazed. The actress played Rani Bharti, the wife of a previous Chief Minister of Bihar, who is compelled to take on the responsibilities of the CM’s job against her will in Subhash Kapoor’s political drama, which was launched yesterday on the OTT platform. The Jolly LLB 2 actress has been receiving love and nice shout-outs from B-Town since the show’s premiere. Twinkle Khanna is the most recent celebrity to appreciate her.

The Mela actress took to Instagram to post a video of herself discussing the show and describing the storyline as “interesting.” “I’ve been watching a drama called Maharani on SonyLIV and it has me gripped,” Twinkle says in the video. Huma Qureshi portrays an ignorant housewife who rises to become the Chief Minister. And I found it fascinating to witness a woman who could not only maintain her ground but also dominate the social and political arena.”

“The way they’ve used little little details…,” the Barsaat actress continued. I was noticing how, at first, her ghoonghat totally covers her, but as the show proceeds, it gradually falls behind, till it barely covers her bun. These minor details, in my perspective, add reality while also showing me a journey. It’s an interesting narrative, and Huma is fantastic as the Maharani. This was an absolute must-see for me!”
