The inquiry into Sushant Singh Rajput’s death and the following narcotics case seem to have intensified. The Narcotics Control Bureau is presently questioning SSR’s house help Neeraj and cook Keshav Bachner. The two were called a day after Siddharth Pithani was arrested in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput narcotics case.
When asked if the NCB’s new move was prompted by the arrest of Siddharth Pithani, NCB Zonal Director Sameer Wankhede refused to comment, saying; “They are being questioned and I cannot tell anything because the inquiry is at a sensitive stage.”
Both Keshav and Neeraj were said to be with SSR at the time of his death. Neeraj told the Mumbai Police that he had rolled joints for the actor and discovered the package empty after finding him dead in his bedroom.
SSR died on June 14 of last year, and the police and other judicial authorities have been investigating his death for the past year. Sushant’s family is pursuing numerous charges in court, so there’s still a lot of speculation surrounding the matter. Their lawyer, Vikas Singh, recently stated that the family has also requested a court injunction in a dispute involving filmmakers attempting to develop a film about SSR’s life.
