Zoya Akhtar, a famous director, is capturing the career of the legendary literary pair Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar. The director wants to transform it into a docu-drama for a major streaming platform. The news sparked widespread discussion on social media, with many cinema fans eager to follow the writing duo’s journey. With classic films like Sholay, Don, Zanjeer, Deewar, Trishul, Seeta Aur Geeta, Shaan, and Shakti among others the duo changed the tide f Hindi film indusrtry.
In an interview with prominent newspaper Dainik Bhaskar, salim Khan, the veteran writer, was asked to remark on the newsbreak of a documentary on them for a digital world. The veteran writer confirmed the report, stating, “This news is absolutely true.” Zoya presented this concept to me about a month and a half ago, and she has already begun her investigation. She will also interact with all of the folks who have previously worked with us. It will be a lengthy procedure. It isn’t a biopic, but more of a documentary.”
Apart from confirming the biopic, the writer was also brutally honest about his son, Salman Khan, and his recent film, Radhe. It was far from being a fantastic film, according to Salim Khan. He also disclosed that there is a scarcity of competent authors in Bollywood right now, which is why all of the studios are turning to remakes. He also stated that he is not currently writing a script for his son because he does not want to compromise his vision. Salim Khan stated that he is excited for Tiger 3 because it is a mission-based movie.
