With the tenth anniversary of Pyaar Ka Panchnama, Kartik Aaryan marks ten years in the entertainment industry. Luv Ranjan’s film, which debuted on May 21, 2011, allows six aspiring actors to display their talents. Despite the film’s box financial success, it was Kartik who stole the show.
The actor has established a name for himself in the industry, but it has not been an easy road. His subsequent films, including as Luv Ranjan’s love drama Akaash Vani (2013) and Subhash Ghai’s produced and directed Kaanchi: The Unbreakable, failed to make an impression. After a brief hiatus, the actor resurfaced with the sequel of Pyaar Ka Punchnama. The actor established himself as a rising star with Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety, which was a box office success and entered the 100 crore club. He never looked back after that, scoring back-to-back hits with Luka Chuppi (Rs 95 crore) and Pati, Patni Aur Woh (Rs 97 crore).
Since then, the young actor has become a favourite of big brands. He’s climbed to the top of the list of the top-20 celebrities with the most valuable brand. With over a dozen brand endorsements under his belt, the actor has entered the ranks of Virat Kohli, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar in the race for the most endorsements.
Meanwhile, the actor is preparing for his next film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which would have been out by now if the pandemic hadn’t caused a delay.
