Hugo Barra to leave Facebook and enter Healthcare Tech Space

Hugo Barra, Vice President of VR at Facebook, on Tuesday reported that he is leaving the organization after more than four years. Barra, 44, joined Facebook in 2017 to lead its Oculus VR group. Before his residency at Facebook, the Brazilian innovation chief functioned as the Vice President of Xiaomi. Barra declared his takeoff from Facebook through a post on the informal community. He said that he was wanting to wander into the medical care innovation space to help individuals in the midst of the Covid pandemic.

In 2017, Barra left Xiaomi to join Facebook. He was at first employed to lead the Oculus VR group. Nonetheless, in May 2019, the chief played the job of building a worldwide AR/VR accomplice biological system situated in New York City. 

Barra gave a few insights regarding his next adventure and said that he was attempting to enter the medical care innovation space.

Strangely, Barra reported his moving on from Facebook amidst Facebook creating smart glasses in a joint effort with Ray-Ban. 

Barra acquired fame for heading the Android division at Google in its rising stage prior to joining Xiaomi in August 2013.
